Dear Reader,
If you happen to be in the South Shore, MA area, or know anyone in this area who might be interested, here is a new project I’m starting with some friends beginning this coming January.
If you’ve ever thought to yourself,
‘I’d like to learn how to garden and grow some of my own food,’
‘I’d like to learn how to fish, hunt, and build a fire,’
or
‘I’d like to make my supply lines more local, natural, and sustainable,’
then this might be for you.

Following in the model of these guys,
we are aiming more for a ‘Scouting for adults’ ethic vs ‘Prepping for the zombie apocalypse.’
Or to put it another way, ‘more field and stream than guns and ammo.’
Have a look.
Pax,
Michael
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."

Love that you're doing this. I've started trying to do the same thing in my community, because we have many of the resources for this type of intentional living already in place. This seems incredibly necessary this day and age.
I am already at the last "S" in the troop leading procedures, brother. Just watch out for rats. Hate rats....hate'em. Merry Christmas.
